Jacqui strides confidently onto the Korean soul scene with a silken voice, sharp wit, and an unmistakable sense of style.

Her debut album, Dirty Mirror Selfie, created with producer glowingdog (RM, Damons Year, sogumm, Lee Hi, Dvwn), blends metallic textures and soulful warmth with Jacqui’s honest, playfully self-aware lyrics. The result is a captivating mix of nu jazz, neo-soul, R&B, and pop that introduces a fresh and fearless new voice in Korean music.

Born in South Korea and raised in China and the U.S., Jacqui’s musical awakening came through Erykah Badu, whose influence set her on a lifelong creative path. Now based in Seoul, she views music as a spiritual process of reflection, growth, and self-realisation.

Her debut EP Birthday (2022) signalled the start of her journey, followed by international performances at SXSW Sydney (during Australian tour), The Great Escape, and Focus Wales, alongside support slots for slchld (Australia) and a showcase at Bangkok Music City. Her single fries, bb was championed by Don Letts on BBC Radio 6, while she earned a Golden Indie Music Award nomination for Best Asian Creative Artist and signed a global publishing deal with Cooking Vinyl.

With previous success including her track White Clouds featured in the Netflix series My Holo Love, and Sagwa synced on the Amazon series Butterfly this summer Jacqui continues to evolve as one of Korea’s most compelling new artists.
